This program is puffery...

It does not get rid of an installed program "for good". It only attempts to run the program's uninstall executable, and then it will remove the program's name from Window's ADD/REMOVE dialog box. If the original program's uninstall executable won't remove the program's files, neither will this program (Add-Remove 4Good).

As you will notice, each program's own uninstall executable does the first part already!

So, all that this program really gives you is a way to remove the old program's listing in the ADD/REMOVE dialog box, if the uninstall program does not do this.

In the old days, at the beginning of Win95, programmers often forgot to add a line of code to remove the old program's listing in the ADD/REMOVE dialog box. As of 2004 though, most programs will remove themselves from the ADD/REMOVE dialog box if they listed themselves there in the first place. Old files which weren't removed by the original program's uninstall will still be left on the hard drive by this program --

I don't call that 'removed' for good... As I said, this is puffery.
